Our Emergency First Aid at Work course is a comprehensive, hands-on program designed specifically for individuals working in the security industry. Across six focused days, participants will gain the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to confidently respond to real-life medical emergencies.

Led by certified instructors with frontline experience, the training combines classroom-based learning with active, scenario-based practice to ensure each delegate is ready for the challenges they may face on duty.

What you'll learn

How to respond to adult medical emergencies with confidence
How to perform effective CPR and use a defibrillator (AED)
How to manage choking, burns, bleeding, and shock
How to place a casualty in the recovery position
How to identify signs of seizures and provide safe care
How to respond to poisoning incidents appropriately
How to remain calm and communicate during high-stress situations

This course includes:

6 days of in-person training
Practical scenario assessments
Small group sessions for hands-on learning
Certificate of completion (valid for professional use)

Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 18 years old – All participants must be at least 18 to enrol.
  • Valid Photo ID – Passport or driving licence required for certification processing.
  • Basic English Proficiency – You must be able to understand instructions and complete written assessments in English.
  • Physically Able to Perform First Aid Tasks – You will be required to demonstrate CPR, place someone in the recovery position, and respond to practical scenarios on the floor.
  • Appropriate Clothing – Wear comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity during roleplay and assessments.
  • Punctuality – Attendance is required for the full course duration to be eligible for certification.
  • Pre-Booking & Payment – Spaces are limited — booking and payment must be completed before the course start date.
